We live in difficult times. Most of us endure hard doses of sufferings. Sometimes, you just need someone to talk. A person who can understand your situation. The world is going crazy. Insecurities, lockdowns, loss of freedom, complex migration conditions, persecution, name the rest.
Like never, we need to stay bonded in practical love. Christians need to set the example of compassion and care for one another. No, this is definitely not the time to travel around to squander financial resources, sleep on beautiful beeches, eat in pleasant restaurants and satisfy all your fleshly lusts. Like it or not, believe it or not, this world is ending. You can’t waste your time on vanities. What account will you give God on that day?
Our brothers and sisters are going through tough situations at the moment. In Islamic nations and the East, they face the worse persecutions. Others are losing their jobs for standing up for justice and truth. Many can’t tell what tomorrow holds. We can’t afford to misuse our resources. Now is time to stand for each other, show solidarity and be there for one another.
That’s why we have this page. With open hands, we want to connect with you, read the Bible, talk about issues that trouble us, pray together and encourage one another in this Christian race. We know soon we’ll be caught up in the clouds to meet Jesus in the air, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. It’s not a myth.
But we must endure the tests of our times. The writer of Hebrews encourages ‘‘not to cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise, Hebrews 10:35-36 NKJV.
